This is a clerical position which is the first line representative to the hospitals and surgery centers and is responsible for scheduling appointments and operative procedures. This position works as a team member of the clinic.Responsibilities
  • Coordinates the scheduling of appointments and surgical procedures accurately, recognizing the importance and relationship to patient care
  • Verifies insurance benefits
  • Obtains insurance pre-certification and authorization as required
  • Coordinates and schedules patient appointments to include pre-op, pre-admit and post-op appointments
  • Schedules all meetings for provider, including attorney and vendor meetings
  • Maintains, coordinates and manipulates provider clinic schedule to accommodate surgical cases, CME, vacation, court appearance, attorney depositions and all other meetings for the provider, using both Epic and MS Outlook programs
Requirements
  • High school graduate or equivalent preferred
  • Minimum two (2) years of clerical experience in a medical environment

Pay and Benefit ExpectationsWe provide a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive salary, medical, dental and retirement benefits and paid time off. As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into each position. The pay scale is $20.67 - $29.75 USD. However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education.
