Privately held organization is seeking an engineer to oversee production as their Operations Manager/Engineer and manage direct and indirect reports in a fast-paced injection molding facility. You will inspire your staff to achieve daily, weekly and monthly targets, ensure that the production schedule is met and work to continuously improve the plant. In this role, you will have the following responsibilities:
The company is seeking a candidate who enjoys spending up to 50-60% of their day on the manufacturing floor. Candidates should be able to take ownership of the plant, be able to hold others accountable, act in a professional manner, lead by example, coach and mentor their staff, be flexible with work requirements and infuse energy and excitement into the daily operation of the facility. Qualified individuals will have the ability to thrive in fast-paced environments, work under pressure and have a strong ability to solve problems and improve processes.

REQUIREMENTS for the Operations Manager/Engineer:
1. Bachelor's degree in a technical field, ideally Mechanical Engineering
2. At least five years of manufacturing and/or process engineering experience
3. Experience working in plastic or rubber injection, blow or compression molding
4. Strong continuous improvement background
5. Project management of timelines and ideally budgets
6. Strong mechanical aptitude
7. Strong process troubleshooting background
8. 3D modeling experience
9. Microsoft Office, including Excel
Skills preferred but NOT required:
1. ERP experience
2. Supervision experience
3. Scheduling background
4. Master's degree
5. P&L experience
