This key role will be responsible for leading the finance support for the Programming and Newsgathering teams of MSNBC and CNBC. Managing a team of three motivated professionals, this leader will partner with senior leaders of CNBC and MSNBC to execute on day to day priorities as well as key initiatives. This role will report to the SVP, News Finance and responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:KEY RESPONSIBILITIES - Lead the team responsible for planning and communicating the financial implications of programming-related decisions (e.g. schedule changes, staffing changes, alternate commercial formats)Create financial processes and operational reporting for the MSNBC Newsgathering operation a unique opportunity to participate in a large strategic build and demonstrate flexibility, generate new ideas, and provide analytical insights.
