Location: Lansing, MI This position is responsible for the safe and efficient operation and maintenance of the energy related assets located within a central utility complex at the GM Lansing or GM Delta Complex. Assets include Air handling Units, Chilled Water, Cooling Tower, Thermal Storage, Compressed Air, Hot Water and Wastewater Treatment. Work is performed under the direction of the Plant Management or Lead O&M Technician. Key Accountabilities - Perform station shift operation and maintenance, including startup and shutdown of main plant components and auxiliaries as directed - Perform operations in accordance with established SOPs and job safety standards - Respond to abnormalities and take corrective actions consistent with established operating procedures and good engineering practice - Conduct routine tours of the plant to inspect equipment; provide feedback to management and other employees - Comply with all site safety requirements and procedures.
