As a result, our people enjoy working on some of the most exciting projects in the world.Job DescriptionTurner & Townsend is seeking a Project Manager to support large-scale public sector construction projects. This role involves managing the full lifecycle of public infrastructure initiatives, from planning and design through execution and close-out. The successful candidate will bring strong project management expertise, technical knowledge of construction practices, and the ability to lead and collaborate across diverse stakeholder groups.This role requires working onsite at the client's facility three days per week approximately 23 miles North of Saint Petersburg, FL.Responsibilities:* Define project scope, goals, and deliverables; develop project plans, schedules, and budgets.* Oversee construction activities and ensure adherence to plans, specifications, and quality standards.* Monitor project expenditures and manage contracts to ensure budget compliance.* Develop and maintain project schedules; track progress and mitigate delays.* Communicate project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders.* Ensure compliance with permitting and regulatory requirements.* Administer contracts with contractors and vendors.* Collaborate with engineers, architects, contractors, and internal departments.* Provide technical support and guidance on cost control, value engineering, and constructability.* Respond to RFIs and manage flow of project information across teams.* Produce formal project status reports and documentation.* Lead process improvement initiatives and contribute to knowledge sharing.* Ensure effective project governance and application of best practices.* Support strategic thinking and client relationship development.* SOX control responsibilities may be part of this role, which are to be adhered to where applicableQualifications* Able and willing to work onsite at the client's facility at least three days per week (approximately 23 miles North of Saint Petersburg, FL.)* Bachelor's degree in construction management, architecture, engineering, or a related field.* 3-5 years of relevant experience managing construction projects.* Experience managing public sector or municipal infrastructure projects is highly desirable.* Familiarity with permitting processes and environmental regulations.* Strong organizational and leadership skills.* Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.* Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Procore, and other construction project management tools.* Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize effectively.* Experience with contract negotiation and vendor management* Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.* Comfortable presenting project updates to internal and external stakeholders.* Experience working within a structured project governance framework.* Ability to work independently while maintaining alignment with broader team goals.Additional Information* On-site presence and requirements may change depending on our client's needs*Our inspired people share our vision and mission.
