The Details:Location: Headquartered in Downtown Seattle, remote work possible from AZ, CA, CO, ID, FL, OR, TN, VA, WA.Work Schedule: Our typical business hours are 8:30-5:00 PT Monday-Friday.Travel Requirements: Up to 10%, travel to the headquarters office 2-3 times per year.Category: Full-Time, FLSA Exempt, Regular, Non-UnionPhysical Requirements: Must be able to sit and stand for long periods of the day.About the Position:Reporting to the Manager of the Project Management Office, the Project Manager II will play a key role in our organization's growth of benefits and services focused on our mission to develop and enable the Home Care Aide profession. Our work environment is fast-paced and exciting. This position will be responsible for the planning and execution of large, complex, high visibility projects that support internal operations or the delivery of benefits and services on behalf of caregivers. In this role, you'll have the opportunity to lead multiple projects that directly contribute to our strategic vision and organizational success. You Will:
- Be responsible and accountable for the project management of complex, large-scale, cross-functional projects to meet strategic business and organizational objectives;
- Track projects and provide visibility to cost, schedule and performance;
- Mitigate risks, resolve issues, facilitate team and project communications;
- Monitor, track and control outcomes to resolve issues, conflicts, dependencies and critical path deliverables;
- Accountable, in partnership with project owner, for the ultimate success and acceptance of the overall assigned program;
- Maintain continuous alignment of program scope with strategic business objectives and recommend modifications to enhance effectiveness;
- Manage a portfolio of projects in partnership with business units to ensure visibility, organization-wide prioritization and alignment of resources;
- Provide support to project portfolios through the Organizational Alignment process including: semi-annual business reviews, departmental roadmap maintenance, and regular project visibility and reporting;
- Teach and mentor others in the required discipline and competencies of program and project management while helping instill a culture of project management;
- Exhibit flexibility in right-sizing project management methodology and approach;
- From time to time, perform other duties commensurate with the level of this position.
You Will Need to Have:
- Bachelor's degree in applicable subject area or equivalent experience;
- 5+ years of experience in business-related project management;
- 2-3+ years of experience working in a project environment, leading cross-functional and/or complex programs;
- Fluency in standard program and project management tools (Atlassian JIRA/Confluence, Smartsheet, Visio);
- Proven ability to lead programs utilizing project management methodologies, and best practices;
- Ability to analyze and present data and insights to ignite action, track and evaluate operational effectiveness and identify and mitigate risks;
- Track record of success in project planning and cross-functional team management;
- Comfortable and productive working and leading in ambiguous situations;
- Demonstrated ability to facilitate collaborative solutions to complex multi-disciplinary problems;
- Visual solid presentation skills related to developing and delivering process maps, reports, scorecards and presentations.
It Will Be Great if You Have:
- Experience leading Non-profit projects;
- Experience working in a cross functional shared services environment;
- PMP Certification preferred.
