Our mission is to deliver exceptional customer experiences while helping communities transition to economically and environmentally sustainable energy solutions.A Roofing Foreman will be responsible for leading a team of roofers and ensuring the proper installation and repair of various types of residential roofs.Qualifications:
- Minimum 5-7 years of hands-on residential roofing experience.
- At least 3 years in a management or senior foreman role, supervising crews and projects.
- Experience with hiring, training, scheduling, performance management, and disciplinary action.
- Comprehensive understanding of roofing systems, materials, flashing, ventilation, chimneys, and structural water infiltration solutions.
- Must be on job sites daily, actively supervising and ensuring work meets company standards.
- Expected to assist with roofing installation and repairs alongside crews when necessary to meet deadlines and maintain quality.
- Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations, building codes, and safety compliance requirements.
- Proven ability to lead multiple crews and manage senior foremen.
- Ability to assess job readiness, determine timelines, and manage resources effectively.
- Capable of managing jobsite logistics, including vehicle scheduling and material delivery.
Responsibilities:
- Have comprehensive knowledge of all roofing materials and installation techniques for residential and commercial projects.
- Responsible for everyone on the roofing team in your market
- Responsible for coordinating with all necessary personnel
- Changing crews when needed
- Hiring / Firing
- Time sheets/ approving PTO
- Be available at all times via, meetings, phone, email, texts, and groups
- Identify and resolve roofing-related problems efficiently.
- Look over jobs in ready to schedule how many days it will take to install
- Look over failed sitecapture and assess the situation, needs, and materials.
- Imputing Sitecapture for Roofing inspections
- Adding /Building - knee walls/ vents/ moving vents/ repairing chimneys, various flashing, and all other possible structural and water infiltration issues.
- Understanding and auditing all materials necessary for the project to start and complete.
- Assigning jobs for the day and the week
- Have meetings with Roofing venders when required
- Ensure all necessary materials, tools, and equipment are available at all job sites
- Monitor the performance of team members and provide feedback or disciplinary action as needed.
- Ensure all roofing installations and repairs meet company and industry standards.
- Make sure projects adhere to local building codes and regulations.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA and other workplace safety regulations.
- Handle accidents or injuries, ensuring proper reporting and corrective action.
- Work with suppliers to procure materials on time and at the best cost in conjunction with warehouse managers
- Schedules vehicle services when necessary
- Runs out material to jobs if needed
- Weekly toolbox meetings tells them what we need to do better at each week
- Enforce safety protocols
- Conduct safety training - Regularly educate staff on safe practices.
- Handle accidents or injuries, ensuring proper reporting and corrective action.
- Provide regular updates to upper management
- Maintain happy customer communications
- Maintain a drug free work environment
- QC before and QC after projects
- Continue training and research on best practices and materials to improve company efficiency
