The Physical Security Program Manager, assigned to a Pinkerton client, will be responsible for overseeing enterprise physical security deployment, contributing to policy and procedure development, onsite and travel risk management, responding to emergencies and providing concierge services. The Manager oversees physical security programs and security staff management on-site and other sites throughout the client's organization. Responsibilities Represent Pinkerton's core values of integrity, vigilance, and excellence. Provide management oversight for the selection, orientation, development, and retention of high caliber staff. Plan and direct the work of staff as well as on-going performance feedback and disciplinary actions, as necessary. Contribute to the development of a corporate business continuity program which includes threat assessments, crisis management, travel risk management, emergency response, resource management, and business impact analysis and administration. Develop policies, objectives, plans, and procedures for the client's security organization. Reevaluate the current security programs to ensure alignment with the growth and direction of the company. Liaise with internal personnel and third-party response resources, including threat management and protection teams. Audit methods, policies, and procedures to ensure efficiency. Evaluate work standards and security performance levels that ensure uniformity, effectiveness, and incorporate continuous improvement to attain best in class programs and operations. Develop and implement training for subordinates as directed or required by the client, Pinkerton, or by regulatory or compliance requirements. Ensure the completion, tracking, and documentation of all training, as required by both the client and other legal compliance or regulatory requirements. Coordinate thorough analysis of security risks and development of appropriate mitigating strategies. Control access to the client's lobby through the admittance process including the screening of visitors, vendors, and client employees in an efficient manner in order to expedite their admittance to the site or facility. Enforce safety and security policies/procedures. Respond to incidents of fire, medical emergency, bomb threat, activated alarms, flooding, water discharge, elevator emergency, hazardous materials, inclement weather, suspicious activity, and other incidents or conditions. Deescalate tense situations through appropriate security measures and communication channel measures. Review CCTV footage, complete patrols, and review threat intelligence, as needed. Develop strategic relationships and act as liaison between client and law enforcement agencies and emergency management agencies. Cultivate skilled security employees within the client's security programs by assigning responsibility, managing accountability, and providing opportunities for growth. Build relationships and collaborate effectively with key stakeholders. All other duties, as assigned. Qualifications Associate's degree preferred with at least four years of experience in facility/corporate security management, law enforcement, risk management, or related industries with project/program management responsibility. Current WA CPL and WA armed guard license is required. Firearms trainer and instructor background, preferred. Physical Security Professional (PSP) or similar certification, preferred. Familiarity with executive or close protection for C-Suite executives, preferred. Able to interact effectively, both written and verbal, at all levels and across diverse cultures. Able to assist in facilitating progressive change. Serve as an effective team leader. Able to adapt as the external environment and organization evolves. Use sound judgment and make appropriate decisions. Able to multi-task and effectively manage competing priorities. Computer skills; Microsoft Office. Working Conditions: With or without reasonable accommodation, requires the physical and mental capacity to effectively perform all essential functions; Regular computer usage. Occasional reaching and lifting of small objects and operating office equipment. Work in environments and under conditions that require carrying authorized weapons and ammunition, the use of protective gear and devices, and/or awareness of personal safety and safety of others. Frequent sitting, standing and/or walking for long periods of time and may involve climbing stairs and walking up inclines and on uneven terrain. Travel, as required.
