A Registered Nurse is responsible and accountable to perform the nursing process as a basis for patient care. Provide direction and oversight to other licensed and non-licensed staff. Show compassion to recipients of services, coworkers, and surrounding communities through integrity, stewardship, empowerment, the promotion of diversity, and professional excellence. Demonstrate excellent customer service and enthusiasm for the program and the organization. Assess persons served care needs, develop a plan of care in collaboration with an interdisciplinary team, and continually reassess the plan of care. In collaboration with the physician, provide/coordinate nursing care to individuals and groups of persons served. Assist in the teaching of persons served and families, and provide milieu management.
