The Environmental Health and Safety Director for Rail will be responsible for Safety Policies and Procedures for the company specifically related to Rail operations. Responsible for directing the resources and activities of the organization to support the Safety Programs by providing advice and guidance to employees, independent contractors and senior management. Must provide leadership, professional knowledge and expertise in the administration and support of all safety processes for the company's operations, focusing on regulatory agency compliance including the Department of Occupational Safety and Administration (OSHA), Rail Operations primarily within Rail Terminals and as needed, Warehouse and Trucking Terminals. This individual shall continuously strive to improve company employee safety performance to comply with all regulatory agencies' rules and regulations.
