AsAzure infrastructure, you will make an impact by managing and optimizing Azure infrastructure services. You will be a valued member of the team and work collaboratively withBanking&Financial Servicesteams.
In this role, you will:
- Manage and optimize Azure Virtual Machines to ensure high availability and performance.
- Implement and maintain Azure Automation processes to streamline operations and reduce manual intervention.
- Partner with the ELK platform owner and Application SMEs to ensure application logging is done the right way and build ETL
processes as needed to wrangle logs.
- Develop implement and support the log collection processes across various on-prem and cloud servers.
- Collaborate with application owners to make sure a robust application logging framework is in place and is made available as
reusable modules for various technical personnel whilst adhering to standard logging methodology set by Enterprise Architect
- Monitor Azure resources using Azure Monitor to proactively identify and resolve issues.
- Administer Azure environments ensuring compliance with company policies and security standards.
- Use Azure Data Factory and Azure functions wherever possible to extract and load custom application logs
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement cloud solutions that align with business goals.
- Provide technical expertise and guidance to team members fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues minimizing downtime and ensuring business continuity.
- Stay updated with the latest Azure technologies and best practices to drive innovation and efficiency.

What you need to have to be considered
- Possess a strong understanding of Azure Virtual Machines and their management.
- Proficiency in Azure Data Factory and Azure functions.
- Demonstrate expertise in Azure Automation for process optimization.
- Experience with data wrangling and data analysis specifically as it relates to enterprise data management including source to target mapping.
- Strong experience with RDBMS and query language.
- Exposure to Control-M orchestration tool.
- Strong experience using common file formats such as CSV TEXT JSON XML XSD etc.
- Have experience with Azure Monitor for resource monitoring and issue resolution.
- Show proficiency in Azure Admin tasks ensuring secure and compliant environments.
- Exhibit knowledge in managing Azure SQL databases for application support.
Salary and Other Compensation
Applications will be accepted until August/25/2025.
The annual salary for this position is between $49,001– $92,500 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
