The Director of Finance and Facilities provides senior leadership for the University Libraries organization. The Libraries resource environment encompasses a $50 million cost pool, additional endowment gift and sales income, and the externally-funded Minitex outreach service (a joint program of the Minnesota Office of Higher Education and the University). The position reports directly to the University Librarian and develops financial strategies for implementing the Libraries academic priorities, serving as a contributor to the administrative executive group and member of the Libraries Leadership Council. The position is responsible for the financial functions of the Libraries and oversees significant capital assets including library collections, 10 library facilities, and the safety/security program.
