PRIMARY PURPOSE AND FUNCTION:
The position will design, deliver, and manage training programs that equip employees with the knowledge and skills to effectively use Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools and technologies in their daily work. This role facilitates closing the gap between AI adoption and employee enablement, ensuring our workforce feels confident, informed, and empowered to leverage AI safely, ethically, and productively.
The ideal candidate will have a strong technical foundation in IT systems, combined with the ability to train, coach, and support employees on AI applications.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS / RESPONSIBILITIES
Training Development & Delivery
- Lead the design and delivery of training programs, workshops, and e-learning modules on AI tools
- Partner with HR, IT and business leaders focusing on aligning the training with organizational goals and customizing training for different departments and job functions to ensure relevance and impact
- Develop user guides, FAQs, and training resources for AI tools
Change Management & Adoption
- Promote a culture of responsible AI use by teaching ethical practices, data privacy, and compliance standards
- Support employees in adapting to new AI-driven workflows and processes, providing 1:1 coaching, group sessions, and ongoing learning opportunities
- Gather feedback and continuously improve training content based on employee needs
- Stay up to date with emerging AI technologies and recommend new training initiatives
IT Support & Systems Management
- Provide IT support services to local and remote employees with technical problems and IT issues as applicable
- Escalate unresolved technical problems to higher-level IT staff
- Maintain knowledge of technology innovations and trends
- Performs other related duties as assigned
SKILLS AND WORK HABITS / QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in Education, Instructional Design, Business, Computer Science, or related field
- At least 5 years of experience in corporate training, instructional design, or employee development, with a focus on digital tools or AI
- Strong understanding of AI concepts (generative AI, automation, data analytics, machine learning applications)
- Superior interpersonal, presentation and facilitation skills and experience working with C-suite executives; ability to explain technical and AI concepts in plain, practical language
- Knowledge of e-learning platforms, learning management systems (LMS), and digital training methods
- IT support, help desk, technical support experience highly desirable
- Proficient with Microsoft 365 Suite, Google Workspace, commonly used productivity tools and other types of software
- Passion for technology and continuous learning
- Self-starter with a strong sense of responsibility and the ability to complete tasks with minimal supervision
- Excellent time management skills with ability to prioritize workload and manage stakeholder expectations
- Demonstrated ability to work under pressure with deadlines and changing priorities, maintaining a professional approach and a calm demeanor
- Must have and express a positive approach to problems and situations that may arise
- Ability to handle very sensitive and highly confidential issues with diplomacy and discretion
Not all candidates will be eligible for the upper end of the salary range. The salary will ultimately be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data for geographic location.
