Job Title: Litigation Paralegal - Labor & EmploymentLocation: Irvine, CASchedule: Hybrid (Onsite & Remote)Salary Range: Up to $100,000 annually

Overview:We are seeking a highly skilled Litigation Paralegal with experience in labor and employment law to join our Irvine office. This role involves supporting attorneys throughout all phases of litigation, from case inception through trial and post-trial proceedings. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and experienced in managing complex legal documentation and case strategy.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage assigned cases and related tasks from start to finish.
  • Perform litigation paralegal duties including discovery, trial prep, and case closure.
  • Conduct background checks (criminal, litigation history, bankruptcy, social media).
  • Submit Public Records Act and FOIA requests.
  • Draft and respond to discovery; assist with document production and case file review.
  • Locate and coordinate with witnesses; prepare deposition subpoenas and notices.
  • Summarize discovery responses and deposition transcripts.
  • Track and index subpoenaed records and incoming documents.
  • Assist with motions to compel and meet-and-confer letters.
  • Prepare trial documents: witness lists, exhibit lists, jury instructions, subpoenas.
  • Maintain trial binders and exhibit sets; draft pleadings and declarations.
  • Create and update CaseMap files; link documents and collaborate with IT litigation support.
  • Manage document databases (Eclipse/IPro); organize discovery and expert witness materials.
  • Provide technical support during trials, including AV setup and war-room coordination.
  • Build and maintain relationships with vendors and litigation support teams.
Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in labor and employment litigation.
  • Strong understanding of state, federal, and appellate court procedures.
  • Proficiency in CaseMap, Eclipse (IPro), and Adobe.
  • Excellent organizational, research, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple deadlines.
  • Professional demeanor and commitment to high-quality work.
