What You'll Do:

  • Perform quality inspections on in-process, final, and received products.
  • Train and mentor new and current employees on department operations and inspection procedures.
  • Guide and support less experienced inspectors, providing solutions and maintaining rigorous quality standards.
  • Complete First Article Inspections (FAI) and customer certification requirements.
  • Assist production teams in adhering to ISO 9001 processes.
  • Conduct inspections with minimal supervision using various inspection techniques and equipment.
  • Participate in audits and compliance projects as assigned.
  • Collaborate across teams to ensure products meet company and customer specifications.

What You'll Bring:

  • Minimum of 4 years of inspection experience.
  • Advanced knowledge of GD&T per ASME Y14.5, with certification from a recognized instructor.
  • Strong ability to read and interpret detailed manufacturing drawings.
  • Proficiency with hand measurement tools, CMM equipment, Mie Trak, SolidWorks, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Extensive knowledge of applicable manufacturing processes.
  • Comprehensive understanding of ISO 9001, AS9100, and/or ISO 13485 standards.
  • Demonstrated motivation, accountability, and effective communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, solve complex problems, and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail, commitment to high-quality work, and team collaboration.
  • Ability to mentor others, resolve conflicts, and respond effectively under pressure.
