We're looking for an experienced and forward-thinking Head of Development & Application to lead our development and application teams. This is a key leadership role with a strong focus on driving innovation, ensuring technical excellence, and aligning product development with market and customer needs. This is a full time, onsite position based in our Princeton, NJ office.
Your Responsibilities:
- Drive long-term strategy, lead product innovation, and ensure alignment with Dohler's market and business goals.
- Build, lead, and develop a high-performing, motivated team; oversee personnel planning, performance management, and development.
- Ensure effective communication and collaboration within the team and across departments.
- Drive continuous improvement by standardizing and optimizing processes, structures, and workflows.
- Lead digital transformation initiatives, develop and implement digitization strategies, and integrate new technologies to enhance business value.
- Plan and manage resources (human, financial, material) within the approved budget; take corrective action as needed in coordination with leadership.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and external standards; define internal regulations and implement corrective actions when necessary.
- Oversee the implementation and documentation of efficient processes within internal IT systems.
Salary/ Pay Range - $120,000 – 150,000
The compensation range provided reflects the expected base compensation only and does not include potential bonuses, incentive plans, or benefits. An individual's final compensation offer will be based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to education level, relevant experience, training, and geographic location.
Your Profile:
- Masters/PhD
- At least 8 years of professional experience in a global application department, preferably in the ingredients or flavors industry
- At least 5 years of professional experience in a management position
- SAP experience highly preferred
- Less than 10% travel
