Leadership
In close partnership with the Vice President of Development and Marketing, actively position Walker Area Community Foundation (WACF) as a leader in cultivating future generations of informed, engaged leaders who share a vision, knowledge, and passion for continued community growth, collaboration, and philanthropy.
Increase community engagement, service, and champions through expanded leadership development opportunities for all generations
· Coordinate and manage The Collective
· Facilitate the Foundation's portion of the Carl Elliott Institute in partnership with Bevill State and Walker College Foundation.
· Lead the Summer Internship Program with Dave Mathews Center for Civic Life and the University of Alabama's New College.
Increase mentorship opportunities and activities to engage youth in communities throughout the county.
· Facilitate Youth Leadership Walker County's Philanthropy Day
· Research and create a Youth on Board program
Continue to build the capacity of nonprofits in the community
· Manage Catalyst Fund Grant and Cohort and participate in the Community of Practice which meets 4 times a year
Train nonprofit leaders and community members on how to host and be volunteers, respectively.
