Job Description :

Our esteemed client in Bergen County, NJ is seeking a talented CNC Manufacturing Engineer to join their dynamic team. This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned professional with deep expertise in 5-axis machining, CNC programming, and process optimization to contribute to a growing, innovative organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Independently set up, program, and operate CNC-controlled milling centers with an emphasis on 5-axis machining.
  • Collaborate with engineering, production, and R&D teams to optimize machining processes.
  • Configure tooling, fixtures, and workpieces for maximum accuracy, efficiency, and repeatability.
  • Monitor machining cycles, making real-time adjustments to ensure quality output.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to machinists and production staff.
  • Troubleshoot CNC programming issues, machine operations, and robotic system malfunctions.
  • Interpret AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and Mastercam drawings and models to ensure exact specifications.
  • Develop and optimize machining sequences, including control plans for complex geometries, precision parts, and prototypes.
  • Drive process improvement initiatives to reduce cycle times, minimize waste, and improve efficiency.
  • Perform in-process and final inspections using precision measuring instruments.
  • Ensure strict compliance with ISO 13485 standards and all safety protocols.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field (preferred).
  • 10–12 years of hands-on experience in 5-axis CNC machining and programming.
  • Proven experience with robotic loading systems and automated machining centers.
  • Strong knowledge of G-code, AutoCAD, Mastercam, and SolidWorks.
  • Ability to mentor and train machinists in advanced CNC processes.
  • Skilled at troubleshooting CNC machinery, robotic integrations, and process inefficiencies.
  • Strong background in precision engineering and high-tolerance machining.
