Our esteemed client in Bergen County, NJ is seeking a talented CNC Manufacturing Engineer to join their dynamic team. Key Responsibilities
- Independently set up, program, and operate CNC-controlled milling centers with an emphasis on 5-axis machining.
- Collaborate with engineering, production, and R&D teams to optimize machining processes.
- Configure tooling, fixtures, and workpieces for maximum accuracy, efficiency, and repeatability.
- Monitor machining cycles, making real-time adjustments to ensure quality output.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to machinists and production staff.
- Troubleshoot CNC programming issues, machine operations, and robotic system malfunctions.
- Interpret AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and Mastercam drawings and models to ensure exact specifications.
- Develop and optimize machining sequences, including control plans for complex geometries, precision parts, and prototypes.
- Drive process improvement initiatives to reduce cycle times, minimize waste, and improve efficiency.
- Perform in-process and final inspections using precision measuring instruments.
- Ensure strict compliance with ISO 13485 standards and all safety protocols.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field (preferred).
- 10–12 years of hands-on experience in 5-axis CNC machining and programming.
- Proven experience with robotic loading systems and automated machining centers.
- Strong knowledge of G-code, AutoCAD, Mastercam, and SolidWorks.
- Ability to mentor and train machinists in advanced CNC processes.
- Skilled at troubleshooting CNC machinery, robotic integrations, and process inefficiencies.
- Strong background in precision engineering and high-tolerance machining.
