Position Summary
The Specialist, Calendar and Brand Events plays an integral role for cross-functional projects to ensure scheduling and ROI assessment of the national brand event/experience programs, key brand regional events and winemaker/distiller travel. Key aspects include working across a spectrum of internal clients including Brand, e-Commerce, Sponsorships, Legal, Procurement, Operations and Sales to ensure alignment with and achievement of short- and long-term business goals.
This role is responsible for building a structure and standard best practice to ensure all national, local and key leader travel is captured, maximized to highest and best use and follow-up's post event are captured. . In the position we are seeking a natural collaborator and self-starter. As a strong project manager, you oversee multiple, fast paced, concurrent programs from inception through execution, ensuring successful delivery against budgets and timelines while maintaining Brand standards.
Responsibilities
Builds, with alignment with key stakeholders, a full calendar of short and long term national retail and promotional events and travel.
This individual will work closely with and reports to the Brand Enablement Senior Director on both the timely coordination of respective programming deliverables and review/approval of the same. Monitors and evaluates programming to ensure that objectives and budgets are being met.
Work closely and will report with a dotted line to the Senior Director, Events and Engagement aiding the brand ambassador strategy development, execution and calendarization.
Work closely with the Brand Events, Sr. Manager on the Events & Engagement team to aid in the development of sponsorship activation by participating in briefing creative agencies, gathering and vetting creative feedback from local team. Also responsible for ad-hoc promotional program support as needed. This may include compiling local program information, sourcing and ordering promotional materials for special local events, tracking competitive activity as it relates to sponsorships and local programming.
Maintains constant and concise communication with Constellation's field sales organization and key wholesalers in the following areas:
Event and experience calendars, winemaker and distiller travel and timelines, execution timelines, planning guides, campaign Activation Sheets , ad-hoc order allocations, etc.
Communicates and evaluates the effectiveness of promotional brand experience and event programs via the analysis of sales impact, number of displays ordered, wholesaler execution and profitability/return on investment of marketing expenditures for select programs.
Develop, in conjunction with the Global Strategy Leadership team, Pre-visit checklists, Event guidelines and post visit checklists and tracks and maintains adherence to these lists.
Able to communicate program analysis to management with future recommendations.
Serve as first point of contact for sales requests for winemaker and distiller travel or information for brand led experiences/events in sales region.
Maintain detailed project lists and serves as initial can and can't do filter as it relates to brand standards and legal questions for the assigned regions.
Develop and maintain a recapping system for events and tracking ROI against agreed key performance outcomes.
Maintains the Press and Accolades excel tracker on an ongoing or monthly basis and produces the PPT version for sales use on a quarterly basis. Uploads relevant news, press and accolades to North Star by brand on an ongoing basis.
Available to travel to events approximately 1 time per quarter
Performs additional duties and responsibilities as determined by management.
Minimum Qualifications
A Bachelor's degree, with an emphasis in marketing or communications preferred, not required.
Demonstrates a working knowledge of general accounting principles, budget management skills, and entre level marketing strategies and brand management understanding
Highly developed interpersonal skills are necessary. Requires excellent written and oral skills with the ability to communicate across all levels of the organization. Must have excellent customer service skills with the ability to work with and present to both internal and external customers.
Must take the initiative to learn and acquire new skills and abilities and provide recommendations to improve upon existing systems and programs.
Strong project management skills. Works well in a fast-paced, action-oriented team where priorities constantly change and time frames are critical. Must manage time well and be highly organized in the delivery of multiple deliverables across multiple programs and Brands
Must be able to work independently with limited direction and recommend viable solutions to problems and issues.
Must have excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to communicate with both internal and external customers.
Must be experienced and be able to demonstrate solid skills using software packages that include Excel, PowerPoint and Word or their equivalents. Must be comfortable working with personal computers and be able to adapt to additional software programs for marketing/creative design.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in the beverage alcohol industry
Experience managing external agencies
Team oriented individual with proven track record of success working across cross-functional teams in a collaborative, high paced and highly competitive environment.
Possesses a strong work ethic with the ability to prioritize, manage and complete multiple projects with tight deadlines. A strong attention to detail and organization is necessary.
Results driven and ability to anticipate needs and solutions for internal and external stakeholders.
Preferably has an understanding of the three-tier system with experience in creating programming for both on and off-premise channels.
Takes direction and maintains a positive, can-do attitude in approach to work

MarketingThe salary range for this role is:
$57,400.00 - $117,800.00This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. Our compensation is based on cost of labor. For remote locations or positions open to multiple locations, the pay range may reflect several US geographic markets, including the lowest geographic market minimum to the highest geographic market maximum. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. An employee's pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, the prevailing minimum wage for the location, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs.
