Shift:
- 12-hour shifts.
- Schedules include 8 AM 8 PM, 12 PM 12 AM, and 9 AM 9 PM (Triage).
Description:
- This is a long-term locum tenens opportunity in Emergency Medicine.
- The role is based in a Level II Trauma Center within an outpatient emergency department.
- Patient volume is per shift.
- The department has 61 ED beds, including trauma bays, critical care rooms, monitored exam rooms, psych-dedicated spaces, fast-track bays, triage stations, and a decontamination room.
- Daily support includes 80 hours of physician coverage, 36 hours of resident coverage, and 36 hours of APP coverage.
- Annual patient volume is approximately 75,000 visits.
- Emergency Medicine residents rotate through the department.
- Epic EMR is utilized.
Requirements:
- For Nurse Practitioners: Acute Care Certified (ACNP), ENP, or FNP with at least 2 years of Emergency Medicine experience.
- For Physician Assistants: Emergency Medicine experience preferred.
- Certifications required: ATLS, ACLS, PALS, BLS.
- Must have an updated CV and NPDB report.
- License: Active Oklahoma license or IMLC eligibility.
