Days/ Hours: 6:00 A. M. to 2:30 P. M. Minimum Salary Range: Starting at $32.67/hr for 2025-2026 Qualifications: Three (3) years of skilled mechanical and facilities maintenance experience that has included heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration, eletrical, mechanical and boiler, operation, maintenance and repair work. Completion of a two (2) year post-high school, vocational-tehnical program with course work in air conditioning/refrigeration/heating, eletrical maintenance and boiler control. Operation and maintenance may be substituted for two (2) years of experience requirement; or an equivalent combination of training and experience. Licensures, Certififcations, and Other Requirements: 1. Type II and Type III Refrigerant Technician Certification; 2. May be required to possess an appropriate license if required by local ordinance; 3. May be required to possess a current Illinois Motor Vehicle Class D Operator License 4.
