Job DescriptionAssociate Veterinarian near the New Jersey Shore!Parkway Veterinary Hospital was established in 1986. In an ideal location, close to the sandy beaches of the Atlantic Ocean and the natural strands along Delaware Bay, the Jersey Cape has everything you could hope for! Our goal is to provide the highest quality medical and surgical care possible. Our staff actively attends continuing education courses to stay abreast of the latest advancements in the veterinary field. Some of our services include:•\tIn-house blood diagnostics•\tIn-house radiological (x-ray) and ultrasound diagnostics•\tSurgical procedures including spays, neuters, mass removals, and bone repair•\tAcupuncture treatment•\tChiropractic treatment•\tCold laser therapy•\tDental cleanings and extractions•\tCancer diagnosis and treatmentWe are seeking an Associate Veterinarian to complete our team and continue our standards of excellence, providing compassionate care, and building strong relationships with our clients and community. Compensation•\tBase salary of $120,000-$150,000 (dependent on experience) •\tProduction-based bonuses •\tSign-on, retention, and relocation bonuses availableQualifications•\tCandidate must be a graduate from an AVMA accredited college or have successfully passed the ECFVG certification program or the PAVE certification program •\tLicense in good standing to practice in the state of New Jersey•\tThe ability to make decisions and communicate clearly and effectively with fellow team members and clients.•\tA commitment to practicing the highest standard of medicine, and a focus on the education of clients•\tSome experience and a level of comfort with anesthesia and surgery, orthopedic experience a plus!•\tExcellent people skills, diagnostic care, computer/technology skills, and the desire for continuing education and being informed on the latest medical advances.•\t3+ years experience in a small animal practice preferred, but will consider motivated recent graduates
