General Job Description

Entry level warehouse associate to perform the following warehouse jobs; pick, pack, box making, heavy lifting, material handler, cross dock, and quality assurance and other various warehouse tasks.

Major Duties and Responsibilities

  • Transports incoming and outgoing inventory to designated areas utilizing appropriate tools/vehicles to accomplish task including but not limited to hand dolly, forklift, electric dolly, pallet jack, and/or cherry picker.
  • Ability to work at various levels, including elevated platforms and racks.
  • Sorts and places materials or items on racks, shelves, or bins according to standard operating procedures.
  • Load and unload trucks.
  • Palletize completed orders.
  • Pre-build and stage packaging materials.
  • Performs quality inspections on outgoing shipments.
  • Working knowledge with digital scanners.
  • Maintains a safe, clean working environment.
  • Participates in quality improvement processes.
  • Adhering to daily schedules and deadlines.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
  • Regular and reliable attendance and punctuality.

Minor Duties and Responsibilities

  • Picks, packs, and handles materials for orders.
  • Commitment to excellence and high standards.
  • Flexible, and able to move within other warehouse positions.
  • Acute attention to detail.
  • Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions.

Qualifications for the Job

  • 1-2 years working knowledge and expertise in Forklift operation, maintenance, order processing, receiving, replenishing, and returns.
  • 2 years of experience in a warehouse environment preferred.
  • 1-year customer service experience.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Solid understanding and knowledge of inventory practices.
  • Familiar with WMS applications.
