Your Role:
Oversee higher-risk resident care activities for assigned unit(s) to minimize infection risk, including wound care, catheter care, incontinence, skin care, point-of-care blood testing, and medication administration
Participate in the facility's QAA Committee and annual infection control risk assessments
Maintain documentation of infection prevention and control program activities
Perform nursing care activities and document in accordance with policies and procedures
Communicate effectively with residents, families, staff, and physicians
Support unit performance improvement initiatives
Ensure staff complete all required educational in-services
Requirements:
Associate's Degree in Nursing from an accredited program
Current RN license in Ohio
CPR Certification
Minimum one year recent clinical experience in geriatric nursing
One year supervisory experience preferred
Long-term care experience preferred
