The purpose of the Float Person is to perform quality checks on a specified line, ensuring that all product that is packed meets customer specification before it is packed into cases and shipped to the customer and to help provide coverage on that line. This person helps to ensure that all personnel on their lines are following company GMPs and only packing acceptable product. This person is proficient in all positions and tasks in the department. This Operator will break others on the line so being able to work in various roles is important. They may be responsible for loading materials into the machine, ensuring proper settings are inputted, monitoring the machine's operation, and performing routine maintenance tasks.
