As the chief academic and administrative officer of the LCME, the Dean is responsible for the college's operations, financial and faculty resources, student recruitment, and fundraising. The Dean oversees ten departments and thirteen academic degree programs that include the major engineering branches of Civil, Electrical, and Mechanical Engineering; legacy programs in Environmental, Geological, Metallurgical & Materials, Mining, and Petroleum Engineering; and specialty programs in Safety and Industrial Hygiene, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Cybersecurity and Network Administration, and Construction Management. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:An earned doctorate in an engineering discipline from a regionally accredited university and the rank of full professor or credentials commensurate with appointment as a tenurable full professor in the Montana Tech School of Mines and Engineering.
