Maintain the chemical laboratory as well as the chemical and water analysis systems. Responsibilities also include performing scheduled and special chemical testing on boiler water, cooling water, wastewater (WPDES system) and de-mineralizer and analyzing the results in order to determine the best course of action with the goal of maximizing efficiency and life expectancy of plant equipment. Job Responsibilities Maintain the chemical laboratory as well as the chemical and water analysis systems. Perform scheduled and special chemical testing on boiler water, cooling water, wastewater (WPDES system), demineralizer and Reverse Osmosis system. Analyzing the results in order to determine the best course of action with the goal of maximizing efficiency and life expectancy of plant equipment. Clean, calibrate, and perform routine maintenance, including installing and replacing spare parts of all plant chemical/water instrumentation.
