The selected candidate will provide daily on-site technical support for a government agency, to include engineering and technical services in support of the cable infrastructure, wideband systems, and network infrastructure for the robust government network.Specifically, the selected candidate will work closely with military personnel for the operations and maintenance (O&M), install, testing and training of communication systems. Will perform in rack, cabinet, cable support system, and general telecommunications equipment mounting and terminate coaxial, Cat-6 UTP, multi-mode fiber, single mode fiber, and any other connection required in the support of telecommunications systems.Troubleshoot end connectivity to distant end and remote locations and attached network devices. Monitor Local and Wide Area Networks to include transport links, layer 1 and layer 2 network devices.
