Building Inspector Details:Direct Hire position$52.00 /hour. First Shift (Monday through Friday from 08:00 am to 05:00 pm)Perform field inspections of building construction, alterations, repairs, and demolitions to verify compliance with applicable building, mechanical, plumbing, electrical, energy, and accessibility codes. Review approved plans, permits, and specifications prior to conducting inspections. Document inspection results, prepare clear and detailed reports, and issue notices of violation when necessary. Respond to inquiries from contractors, developers, architects, and property owners regarding code requirements and inspection procedures.
