Hospital cleaners sanitize rooms during patient's stays, and after patients are discharged. Tasks include vacuuming, mopping, changing bedding and re-stocking bathrooms. Position includes working with chemicals and coming in contact with bodily fluids. Schedule. Part-time, Casual position Various shifts, Monday-Friday | Approximately 16 hours per two weeks. No weekends or holidays. Pay and Benefits Starting pay begins at $17.41 per hour; exact wage determined by years of related experience. Pay range: $15.12 - $23.62 per hour. Qualifications. High School Diploma or GED or equivalent required. Previous cleaning experience in health care facility preferred but not required. Ability to read, write simple task requests and reports, and communicate well with others required. Ability to use cleaning items and cleaning products, including but not limited to mops, floor cleaners, scouring pads, buffers and vacuums.
