Director, ESG Controller - Financial Services - New York City
: Job Details :

Lead the development and oversight of ESG-related reporting processes, including climate, carbon, diversity, governance, and other sustainability metrics. Partner with cross-functional teams (Sustainability, Legal, Risk, Investor Relations, Finance) to ensure accurate, consistent, and timely ESG reporting. Collaborate closely with the 2 LOD (Risk & Compliance) to ensure ESG reporting controls align with the firm's risk management framework. Work with the 3 LOD (Internal Audit) to prepare for assurance reviews, support testing of ESG-related controls, and address audit findings. Support external ESG disclosures, including SEC climate disclosure rules, CSRD (Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive), SASB, TCFD, and other relevant frameworks. Establish and maintain internal controls over ESG data, ensuring alignment with SOX standards and audit readiness. Develop policies, procedures, and documentation to support ESG reporting governance.
