Responsible for the operational and technical components of the Radiation Oncology Department of the Mercy/ UCD Cancer Center. Major duties include supervision of technical staff; maintenance of quality services and the delivery of patient care for radiation therapy patients. Qualifications. Minimum Qualifications. Must possess and maintain a current Therapeutic Radiology license issued by the state of California. Must possess and maintain a current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (AART)certificate. Must possess and maintain an American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certificate. Demonstrated skill in the use of knowledge of radiation therapy equipment, i.e., linear accelerators, simulators, dosimetry, and block cutting. Preferred 3 years supervisory experience in radiation oncology. Communicate effectively both orally and in writing to diverse groups and individuals.
