Cardinal Staffing is currently interviewing for an experienced PACKER in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Shift: Must train on days and move to 3rd shift 6 am-2 pm / 10 pm-6 am Pay rate: $17-$17.50 ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. 1. Completes paperwork in a timely matter and error-free - Understands job jacket information for production of customers' jobs - Accurately enters and reads production information in the manufacturing software using basic computer skills . 2. Sets up for packing jobs in an efficient manner - Retrieves the appropriate corrugated product for the specific job being run - Makes correct layer board and dividers for case packs using basic math skills - Properly prints and adheres labels to corrugated boxes - Sets up tape units and preforms other small mechanical tasks when needed - Adjusts HHS glue system and code reading for proper quality checks 3.
