The FWCs Northeast Region is seeking a highly motivated candidate to join a team of biologists and technicians at the Salt Lake Wildlife Management Area (WMA) in Brevard County, FL. This position serves as a Fisheries & Wildlife Biological Scientist II with a highly productive team of land managers to restore and enhance habitats for the benefit of a variety of species and for the enjoyment of Florida residents and visitors. The position also has responsibilities at Split Oak Forest Wildlife and Environmental Area and Little Big Econ, Charles H. Bronson, and Buck Lake WM - As. The successful candidate will be a key team member responsible for assisting in all aspects of management of the WMA including application of prescribed fire and mechanical and chemical treatments for vegetation control (mowing, roller chopping, herbicide application, etc.).
