Provides one on one assistance to children and adults with disabilities who are enrolled in various activities/programs at the Chicago Park District parks. The Inclusion Program is designed to accept children and adults of all abilities for recreation and leisure activities. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Assists one or more children or adults in sports, games, and various recreational and athletic activities, based on the severity of their disability and/or level of need. Evaluates the skill levels of children and adults and assesses their ability to safely and effectively participate in park activities. Enforces and promotes safety guidelines during all recreational and athletic activities. Provides assistance to children and adults during lunch and with necessary restroom functions, as needed.
