The Materials Handling Operator is responsible for moving, unloading, and loading materials and containers within a manufacturing plant. This role requires attention to safety, teamwork, learning new tasks, and clear communication. Operators must follow company policies, procedures, and safety standards. Key Responsibilities: Adhere to plant safety requirements and promote positive safety culture. Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) and company procedures. Load and unload trucks, drums, and containers. Fill drums and package finished products. Monitor utilities and alarms. Wash, pack, and decontaminate equipment. Perform housekeeping and maintain cleanliness throughout the site. Notify supervisors of incidents and follow instructions. Train under experienced staff; work flexible hours and overtime as needed. Education & Experience: High School Diploma or GED required. Manufacturing site, bulk truck loading, and forklift experience preferred.
