Job Requirements
- Valid Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license in the state of PA
- Acute Care Nurse Practitioner certification required for NPs
- At least two years of Cardiac Critical Care experience
- ACLS
- DEA
Responsibilities
- Patient Care: Provide comprehensive care for patients undergoing cardiac procedures such as coronary artery bypass grafting, valve replacement, and complex aortic surgeries.
- Pre-Operative Management: Conduct pre-operative assessments and consultations to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Intensive Care: Work in the Heart and Vascular Intensive Care Unit (HVICU), managing acutely ill patients requiring advanced cardiac support, including VADs and ECMO.
- Invasive Procedures: Perform essential invasive procedures including central lines, dialysis catheters, arterial lines, and bronchoscopy.
- Team Collaboration: Collaborate closely with intensivists and surgical physician groups within a multidisciplinary team to deliver world-class care.
