Queens North Hawaii Community Hospital is seeking a board-certified/board-eligible full-time Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist to join its Behavioral Health Primary Care Clinic in Kamuela, Hawaii.
This is an outpatient role focused on serving child and adolescent patients with the opportunity to see some adults as needed. The ideal candidate would have 5 or more years of experience and comfortable working in a rural environment. This organization has a family-like atmosphere and members pride themselves on providing crucial medical services to a rural community on the north end of the Big Island. On Hawaiis Big Island, Queens North Hawaii Community Hospital is a 35-bed rural acute-care facility that serves Waimea and surrounding communities. Part of The Queens Health Systems, Queens North Hawaii Community Hospital has over 300 employees and more than a dozen physicians who serve the main hospital as well as outpatient clinics at Lucy Henriques Medical Center. The Level III Trauma Center is accredited by The Joint Commission and is a designated Baby-Friendly birth facility.
