Description Mini-Circuits designs, manufactures and distributes integrated circuits, modules, and sub-systems for high performance radio frequency (RF) and microwave applications. Position Summary:
- Installation of components on Printed Circuit Boards such as resistor, capacitor, IC, etc. with soldering, welding and reflow processes.
- Perform electrical joints on wires, terminals, connectors from medium to high soldering levels.
- Mechanical assembly such as connector installation to case.
- Bonding component, PCB and other materials by epoxy, chip bonders, etc.
- Perform assembly under a microscope.
Salary Range: $20.19 - $25.24 per hour Job Function:
- Install component such as capacitors, resistors, ICs, etc. by soldering, reflow and welding processes.
- Use Conveyor Oven, Hot Plate, Stand-up Oven or similar in curing assembly parts.
- Use dispensing machines in bonding components, PCB and other assembly related materials.
- Operate machines such as cutting dies, installation dies and other assembly related machines.
- Install tiny or microscopic components on PCB.
- Cutting and bending component leads such as quad leads, resistors, etc.
- Mechanical assemblies such as terminal installation, PCB mounting into the case, etc.
- Wire welding and bonding into components and PCB.
- Soldering of cans to header and connectors to case.
- Wire cutting, stripping and tinting.
- Use and maintain hand tools such as pliers, tweezers, soldering tools, thermometers, screw drivers and other equipment.
- Follow procedures and drawings. Recommend improvements and detect errors in the assembly process to the team leader.
- Fill up paper works and other necessary documents upon starting and completion of a run.
- Review own work and check for errors and other abnormalities.
- Enter run information in the computer such as Clock ON and OFF. Retrieve drawings and procedures for the run.
- To assist engineers in building prototypes and qualification assemblies.
- Follow all company procedures.

- Read, write and orally communicate in English.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Interpret and understand assembly drawings.
- One year experience in electrical assembly or outside related experience.
- Able to perform assembly under a microscope.
- Able to use a soldering iron.
- Able to perform reflow solder with conveyor oven.
- Able to distinguish and use common hand tools such as pliers, tweezers, etc.
- Familiar with basic computer operation.
- Ability to distinguish colors in accordance with ishihara test for color blindness.
- Ability to stand and walk to an assembly equipment such as reflow ovens.
- Ability to work in an environment that are filled with constant noise from manufacturing equipment.
- Ability to work while wearing chemical masks and gloves.
- Level B soldering certification
- Able to work in a fast phase manufacturing environment.
- Good teamwork attitude.
