Highland Hospital is seeking Physician Assistants and/or Nurse Practitioners (APP's) to join our ICU team. Candidates for the ICU typically work 12 hour Day or Night shifts. Some duties include but are not limited to:Medical coverage in the ICU, evaluation & management of intensive care unit patients covered by the critical care team. The ICU PA/ NP (provider) reports to the ICU Medical Director for clinical and administrative issues pertaining to the ICU. For broader administrative issues the Chief of Medicine should be consulted. The attending critical care physician on service is available for consultation regarding specific patient related problems. The attending of record should be informed of any significant change in a patients clinical status. Salary Range:$70.00 - $100.00 an hour depending on shift. The referenced pay range represents the minimum and maximum compensation for this job.
