As a Fiber Installation Technician, you will be involved in hands-on work in the field and will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting fiber-optic cables and related equipment. The work performed must follow safety guidelines. ESSENTIAL DUTIES: Install, splice, and terminate fiber-optic cables and connectors in both indoor and outdoor settings. Ensure proper routing and organization of cables to meet industry standards. Conduct thorough testing and quality assurance checks to verify the functionality and performance of the installed fiber optic connections. Identify and resolve issues as needed. Perform routine maintenance and repair activities on fiber-optic equipment and network infrastructure to ensure uninterrupted service. Respond to service outages promptly and restore connectivity. Maintain detailed records of installations, repairs, and equipment used. Generate accurate reports on work completed and document network configurations.
