The CNC Process Engineer position is responsible for engineering activities to develop CNC processes, define controls, and institute effective variability reduction efforts in manufacturing areas. Essential Functions: Program new product without significant interruption in production throughput. Continuously evaluate and drive to improve processes to maintain or improve upon budgeted yields. Training others to run CNC machines. Perform daily audits to ensure procedures are being followed on the manufacturing floor. Bluelight inspection and model generation from the scans. Help where needed and being team player, Communication is critical. Reading and interpreting design blueprints and models. Adjusting the machine settings until the desired specifications are met. Update/revise area procedures to ensure clarity and reduce the opportunity for process variation. Participate in cost reduction and continuous improvement as needed.
