To provide chair side assistance to a licensed dentist and to assist in four-handed dentistry. Under the general supervision of the Faculty Practice Manager the incumbent in this position performs chair side assisting duties in all areas of dentistry. Incumbent will assist dentists in a wide variety of specialties such as Pedodontics, Endodontics, Periodontics, Prosthodontics, Orthodontics, Oral Surgery and General Dentistry. Work will be performed at an advanced journeyman level in the Department of Faculty Dental Practice at the LSU School of Dentistry.
