Seeking an experienced and strategic IT Director to lead the technology operations, infrastructure, and innovation efforts-especially around automation and AI-across the company. You'll lead the charge in shaping and executing our technology vision. You'll apply your operational and leadership experience to ensure system resilience, drive digital transformation, and deliver technology solutions that align with this client's growth objectives. This role is ideal for a former military officer or senior enlisted leader with hands-on experience managing IT systems, cyber operations, technical teams, or complex projects under mission-critical conditions.Key Responsibilities**Develop and execute a strategic IT roadmap that supports organizational goals.**Evaluate, recommend, and implement emerging technologies, particularly automation and AI solutions.**Oversee IT infrastructure, enterprise systems, cloud environments, and cybersecurity.**Lead enterprise data strategy, governance, and analytics initiatives.**Manage IT budgets, assets, and vendor relationships effectively.**Partner with internal stakeholders to identify technology-driven solutions and oversee project rollouts.**Recruit, develop, and mentor a high-performing IT team.**Ensure compliance with cybersecurity standards and industry regulations.**Develop and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans.Qualifications**Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.**10+ years of progressive IT leadership experience (construction industry experience preferred).**Demonstrated success in aligning IT strategy with business operations.**Strong expertise in infrastructure, systems architecture, and enterprise support.**Proven experience leading automation and AI initiatives.**Knowledge of data governance, analytics, and compliance standards.**Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills.What We're Looking For**Strategic thinker with strong business acumen.**Results-driven and innovative problem-solver.**Collaborative, adaptable, and resilient leader.**Committed to excellence and continuous improvement.Additional Information**Occasional travel to jobsites or remote locations required.**Must be able to lift equipment up to 25 lbs.
