Job Description :

The Front Desk Supervisor is a key team member who supports the directors in fostering a culture of transformative experiences for both our guests and our team members. They are passionate about mentoring both guests and team members, take pride in the facility, and strive to provide only the best customer experiences. It is necessary to have a deep understanding of how to create ‘wow' moments for our guests, set up our team members for success, and ensure efficient workflows in the gym.

A Supervisor is the 'point person' for overseeing the front desk during peak hours and ensuring that the service delivered is consistent with our mission and core values. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Support the business goals of the gym in alignment with our vision and core values through understanding and making empowered decisions.
  • Day-to-day supervision and mentoring of team members, including effectively communicating changes in policy, upcoming events, or other topics to lead change effectively and gain support and buy-in from the team.
  • Role-model and support the front desk team in driving progress toward targets shared by directors, including promotion targets, membership goals, and other objectives.
  • Demonstrate humility and a willingness to seek input and listen to constructive feedback while recognizing and appreciating contributions from all.
  • Facilitate the delivery of excellent front-line customer service and serve as a role model to all team members.
  • Provide periodic training to team members regarding various front desk operations.
  • Manage retail, instruction, and/or operations-related projects and tasks in coordination with the director team, which may include engaging community partners and ensuring safety and risk management procedures are upheld by guests and team members.
  • Promote an environment that is inclusive and celebrates diversity, including responding or intervening if community or team members raise concerns or if incidents occur.
  • Bring feedback, insights, experiences, and observations from team members and guests to the Gym Director team.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
  • Have a passion for climbing, yoga, or fitness, an interest in engaging with our community, and a growth mindset through a willingness to learn and curiosity.

  • Possess the knowledge and skills to support and supervise team members effectively.
  • Promote a commitment to excellence in customer service, safety, organization, and mentorship skills.
  • Show courage to do the right thing and face challenges to manage positive customer relationships; ask for help when needed.
  • Have solid computer skills, including web-based applications, Word, Excel, and POS systems.
  • Exhibit problem-solving skills and the ability to think creatively to contribute ideas and solutions.
  • Be available to work evenings and weekends.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
  • This is a full-time position.
  • Starting pay ranges from $25/hour to $26/hour, with flexibility based on experience.

  • Candidates should be in excellent standing with their current management team.
  • New hires will complete a screening process.
  • Shift times may vary weekly or monthly.
