The Guest Information Representative assists with serving guests who are visiting patients as well as directs and informs guests of the visitation rules and regulations using computer systems. Working under close supervision, this job helps provide a positive guest and patient experience, assists departments with special projects, works with volunteers to communicate visitation information as well as assists with guests with physical and emotional needs during their visit. This position is a PRN role (work when needed). Assists department coordinator and director with special projects, ensuring timely completion. Assists guests with physical needs by ensuring appropriate transportation is available when needed. Communicates with guests regarding the hospital visitation policy and provides information to guests regarding number of visitors permitted to the inpatient areas and guest visitation times.
