Assists in the preparation of irrigation, intravenous admixture solutions, and other, using aseptic technique. (must be able to perform repetitive hand motions for IV Room assignments and prepacking.)Fills unit dose, Automated Dispensing Machines (ADM), stock requisitions and maintain inventory levels in OR, Endo & OB. Delivers unit dose, ADM refills, intravenous solution and necessary pharmaceutical supplies to the nursing units. (must be able to walk and/or stand for assigned shift)Fills medication labels, subject to final check by a pharmacist. Prepares pre-packaged medications in commonly used quantities. Assists with inventory control of supplies and medications. Receives and shelves supplies and medications. Performs cycle counts and monthly review of stock for expired medications.
