Position: Transportation Engineer Intern - Farmington Hills Location: Farmington Hills, MI Job Id: 2301 # of Openings: 1 Drive Your Future Forward with Fishbeck Are you a civil engineering student passionate about transportation systems and infrastructure? Fishbeck is offering a hands-on summer internship where you'll work on real-world projects that improve roads, bridges, and communities. You'll gain valuable experience, mentorship, and exposure to the full lifecycle of transportation design. What You'll Work On
  • Assist in designing roads, bridges, and civil infrastructure for DOT and municipal clients.
  • Create design drawings using AutoCAD and OpenRoads Designer.
  • Support engineers with calculations and technical documentation.
  • Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams across offices.
  • Participate in solving real engineering challenges and managing project deliverables. What We're Looking For
    • Currently enrolled in an accredited Civil Engineering program.
    • Eager to learn and contribute to meaningful projects.
    • Familiarity with AutoCAD or OpenRoads Designer is a plus.
    • Strong communication and organizational skills.
