Qualifications
Required Education:
- One (1) completed CPE unit (minimum) from an Association for Clinical Pastoral Education (ACPE) accredited program and a bachelor's degree from a Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA) accredited institution.
Preferred Education:
- Enrolled in (or completed) a 72-semester hours (minimum) master's degree program in theology or divinity from a CHEA accredited educational institution.

- Two (2) or more years of ministry experience in a faith community or other institutional ministry setting.

- The Chaplain Pro Re Nata (PRN) provides “as needed” person-centered spiritual care to patients, families, and colleagues.
- Provides “as needed” objective, patient/family/colleague-centered crisis intervention and spiritual support throughout the institution.
