Mother Baby Position Responsibilities: - Understands all new physician orders must be implemented within two hours of initiation for routine and within 30 minutes or less for stat - Understands and is able to administer medication per physicians orders adhering to the hospital approved patient identifiers, following the 5 rights of patient medication administration - Understands the procedures to ensure continuity of patient profile/kardex and/or procedure preference cards or other unit specific tools, in a timely manner - Performs initial vital signs and admission history to include introduction to patient and family - Assessment of chief complaint and notification of physician within 15 minutes of arrival to unit - Obtains and documents a complete nursing admission assessment, including physiological and psychological factors to develop an interdisciplinary plan of care within eight hours of admission - Performs and documents an accurate systems assessment at the beginning of each sh...Registered Nurse, Nurse, Registered, Monitoring, Certification, Healthcare, RN
